Whether you’re part of an established group or looking to start something new, you’ll find a warm welcome and a comfortable setting. Our team is always happy to help accommodate regular bookings and support groups that make the pub such a lively part of the local community.

Where the Community Comes Together

Viewfinder Photographic Society

Meet: Monday evenings (weekly, excluding the third Monday of the month and Bank Holidays)

The Viewfinder Photographic Society is a friendly Walkington-based club for photography enthusiasts of all abilities. Members meet regularly at Ferguson Fawsitt to share ideas, develop skills and enjoy photography in a supportive and sociable setting, with occasional sessions held via Zoom.

The programme includes workshops, talks, technique tips and reviews of members’ work, along with practical photography sessions during the summer months. Members also have the opportunity to display their photographs at the Society’s annual public exhibition.

MG Car Club

Meet: TBC

The MG Car Club is a long-established club for those who own, drive or simply have an interest in MG cars. Built around friendship, shared enthusiasm and a love of motoring, the club brings members together to enjoy their cars and the social side that comes with them.

The Yorkshire Centre forms part of the wider MG Car Club, which has a history dating back to 1930. Meetings and events are a chance to connect with fellow enthusiasts, share experiences and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere whether you arrive in an MG or not!

Porsche Club

Meet: First Wednesday of the month

Porsche Club GB’s Yorkshire Region (R7) is a large and active community of Porsche owners and enthusiasts, bringing together members of all ages and backgrounds who share a passion for the marque. With over 1,000 members across the region, the club offers a welcoming and social environment both on and off the road.

The region hosts a wide programme of activities, including monthly club nights, guest speakers, social evenings and organised drives across Yorkshire’s scenic roads. Members also take part in national events, with highlights including the annual Yorkshire Porsche Festival, which attracts hundreds of cars and visitors.

Cage Birds Society

Meet: Third Tuesday of every month at 8pm

The Beverley Cage Bird Society is a friendly group of like-minded people who share an interest in bird keeping and showing. Meetings provide an opportunity to exchange knowledge, discuss best practice and enjoy conversation with others who share the same hobby.

New members and visitors with an interest in cage birds are always welcome.

Beverley Referral Business Network

Meet: Every Thursday morning

The BRBN group meets weekly, alternating between in-person and online sessions. In-person meetings take place at Ferguson Fawsitt from 7:15am to 9:00am, with online meetings held via Zoom from 7:45am to 9:00am.

Meetings follow a structured but relaxed format, including short member introductions, a weekly 10-minute insight from one member, and time for referrals and testimonials.
